Kaichou wa Maid-sama

Kaichou Wa Maid-sama in my opinion is one of the classical shoujo animes/mangas.

I would recommend the manga- since it is the original but the show is pretty good too.

Description: Misaki Ayuzawa is the first female student council president of Seika High School, a former all boys school. With there only being a few female students and many loud male students, Misaki ‘protects’ the girls resulting in her being seen as extremely strict or even as a “demon.” At the same time, Misaki secretly works part-time at a maid cafe to help support her family. While Misaki strives to maintain her harsh reputation and job, popular Usui Takumi easily discovers her secret.

– MyRating is for the series overall. It’s an eight because I liked the manga, whereas, if I had to rate the anime alone, the MyRating would be lower.
– The anime is adapted from the manga. Unfortunately, the anime ended way before the manga did. The anime does try to conclude itself, however, the anime’s ending is completely different and less satisfying than the manga.
– If anyone has the plans to watch the anime AND read the manga, watch the anime first!!! O_O After reading the manga, I thought the show was nothing compared to it… makes the show bearable when you don’t know what’s been taken out.
– The show drops off at about chapter 32 ;)
– Can be read on Mangahere.
– Did anyone else find the ending was cute? >.< Although it felt rushed…
