Alibaba Saluja is young boy aspiring to conquer the dungeon in his town and finds himself often ridiculed for such dreams. However, when he encounters and eccentric kid named Aladdin, his fate suddenly changes. He finds himself meeting new people, searching for answers, and helping the world restore back to its original glory. With the guidance of Aladdin, what fate will the two forge for the world?

– I have not read the manga. When I review the other seasons, I will not be including the manga section. If I ever do read the manga, I will create a whole separate review for it then.
– The next season is called Magi: The Kingdom of Magic. In addition to that, there is Magi: Sinbad no Bouken, which includes the three ovas of Sinbad.
– Personally, I felt the first season had the potential to be more distinctive, but ended up following some of the cliché magical progressions/events. It might be because the first season is just the stepping stone of the series, but I am saying this only looking at the season by itself. When the other season and this season are put together, the series is definitely different and worth a shot.
